Museo Evita

For a $2 entrance fee, you will be able to bear witness to Evita’s childhood, career as an actress and her rise to political fame as the First Lady of Juan Peron. Argentina women were not allowed to vote before Evita came to power and with this knowledge it might be interesting to take a look at her voting card.
Museo de las Armas de la Nación

This is a small museum but admission is very heap at only $1. However, it presents an education view of Guerra de las Islas Malvinas or the Falkland Islands War which sparked the dispute between Argentina and Great Britain. The Museum has an impressive collection of guns, military costumes and toy soldiers.

Seniors and children below three years old get free admission but adults pay $2.50. The miniature displays of the Congreso and the mock layout of how traffic flows in the city is educational and will help orient adults and even children to Buenos Aires. It’s all like child’s play really, especially the giant toilet!
Casa Rosada and the Presidential Museum

With free admission, there is no reason why you should not visit this Museum. The pink building has been dubbed as the most photographed building, perhaps because it was featured in the movie Eva Peron which starred Madonna. Another reason might be its association with Leopoldo Galtieri’s declaration of war against the UK.
