Buenos Aires Argentina Transport

Buenos Aires Argentina Transport - Unless you are from the nearby province, the best means of transport to Argentina is through the airways. There are two different airports for domestic (Aeroparque Jorge Newbery which is just 10 minutes to downtown area) and international arrivals (Ezeiza which is 40 minutes to the downtown area). Depending on your place of departure, you can choose from various carriers like Alitalia, Air Franc, Lufthansa, Swissair, KLM, British Airways, Malaysia Airlines and Canadian Airlines.

You can also take the bus through the Estacion Terminal de Omnibus which is located along the Retiro Station. This is ideal for traveling long distance from the other provinces of Argentina to Buenos Aires. Bus fairs are reasonable and can be afforded by students and budget travelers. The terminal is confusing especially for first timers though so you might want to check it out at www.tebasa.com.ar.

Traveling from one place to another within the city is easy as there are metered taxis all over Buenos Aires. If you see a taxi with a red light on its front then flag it as it is available. You can also try the rails service if your destination is just within the suburban area. It is however better to take the radio-dispatched taxis than driving your own car here to avoid the terrible traffic and parking problems.
